Upon conclusion of this project an aging motor control center was replaced with a brand new and modern MCC from Siemens. Up to date BC Hydro service entry requirements required considerably more space on the front end, so other systems were consolidated in order to fit the new MCC into the same space.

Our firm provided hardware and software design including HMI and PLC code for the Ice Blaster product family. Electrical cabinet to ULC standards.

Muir Engineering and McElhanney Civil Consultants partnered to carry out a comprehensive assessment and plan for SCADA upgrades for sanitary lift stations within the City of Courtenay.

Muir Engineering is responsible for the electrical design at this large facility currently under construction in Gold River. Large pumps, VFDs and a high voltage systems upgrade are part of scope.
